Terms of Use

Membership
  • Upon receipt of the membership pack, it is the member’s responsibility and is valid until the expiry date printed on the card. The membership is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash value. Member must be present at all times for benefits to be utilised.
  • Upon receipt of the membership package, the card must be signed by the member in order to be activated otherwise the card will be deemed null and void.
  • Loss or theft of your membership card should be immediately reported to The Far Card Customer Service at +65 6221 9881. An administrative fee of $20 will be charged to issue a replacement card. The Far Card and its membership data is the sole property of participating hotels.
  • The Restaurant Manager has the right to refuse discount or retain the card for verification purposes and has the right to request identification.
  • Once membership is purchased, member is bound by the policies, terms and conditions of the card set by the participating hotels. There is no return policy or any form of compensation.
  • The membership benefits are available throughout the year except on the blackout dates and dining exclusions listed.
  • A member must present a valid membership card in order to enjoy the card and voucher benefits. Discounts/reductions will not be processed on retroactive basis.
  • Card reductions and vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other special promotional offers, hotel offers, programme or The Far Card unless otherwise stated.
  • Only one (1) voucher can be used per table, per party, and per occasion. The only exception is one (1) Complimentary Bottle of House Wine voucher or one (1) Complimentary Cake or one (1) Complimentary Cake or Bottle of House Wine voucher which can be redeemed in combination with one (1) of any dining vouchers at the participating restaurants.
  • Vouchers must be redeemed within the validity period of the membership. Lost or misplaced vouchers are not replaceable.
  • All members are responsible for their parking charges during the whole period they dine or stay at Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford. Member staying in Swissôtel Merchant Court will enjoy a complimentary parking facility during their whole stay and first two (2) hours of free parking when dining at the hotel.

Dining

  • Discounts do not apply to government taxes and service charges.
  • Usual member reductions are not valid for banqueting, take-out services, outside catering, private dining including Equinox private dining.
  • Usual member reductions are applicable for maximum 10 people dining in the participating restaurants, the 11th guest and above will have to pay full price.
  • 50% discount is only applicable when there are 2 adult diners at a table subject to the following additional conditions for each outlet:
    • For Equinox Restaurant, a minimum order of 2 main course items is required for the 50% discount to be applicable.
    • For other restaurants, a 50% discount is only applicable when there are two (2) adult diners at a table with minimum 2 food items ordered (e.g. one set menu and one starter or one main course and one starter). In the event that only one food item is ordered for sharing and there are 2 diners at the table, a 10% discount will apply.
    • Members and their diners have to order a dish each in order to enjoy the varying discounts.
  • Only one (1) membership card can be used per table or party, per visit, and the member must dine at the table to enjoy the membership benefits. Hotels can request for identity verification at any time.
  • Diners from the same party are not allowed to split bills even if they request for separate tables. Definition of party is a group of two (2) or more persons dining at one (1) or more tables. Where there is a request for side by side or nearby tables, this will be considered one (1) party and the one (1) card per table/per visit policy will apply.
  • Hotel may restrict seating availability at specific restaurants during high occupancy. An allocation will be made for The Far Card members. Advance reservations quoting your membership number will be required. Tables may not be available to members in selected restaurants in the event the allocations
    for members have been taken up.
  • Meal periods, menus, prices, change of concept, participating outlets and operating hours can change during the year.
  • Usual The Far Card member privileges may not apply during monthly guest chef promotions and other seasonal promotions at restaurants. However, the hotel might, at its discretion apply a flat discount. Advance reservations are required during promotions and high occupancy at restaurants as hotels may restrict seating availability.
  • Members are entitled to a 25% off in-room dining benefits. Member must be present, show their membership card, and inform the order taker of membership number so the bill is accurate.

Children’s Dining Policy

  • Children, 1-5 years old eat for free at buffet restaurants. Only 1 child per member is entitled to eat free. Children of the same age group can order from a friendly priced kid’s menu at restaurants serving a la carte and will not be considered as headcount for
    discount as they are already charged child’s price.
  • In the case of a party consisting of 1 member and 1 child dining, members and diners have to order a dish per person in order to enjoy the varying discounts. Children will be considered as headcount for usual member reductions when they order from the adult a la carte menu.
  • Same policy above applies to children, 6-12 years at restaurants serving a la carte. Children of the same age group dining at buffet restaurants will not be entitled to card discounts as they are already charged child’ s price.
  • Discounts/reductions at Mikuni and Szechuan Court at Fairmont Singapore are based on the following system: 1-2 children are equivalent to 1 adult, 3-4 children are equivalent to 2 adults.

Limitation of Liability

  • The Far Card and the participating hotels will not be liable for an amount greater than the membership fees to any member arising from any form of dispute in conjunction with the membership.
  • Programme benefits, terms and conditions may be amended or withdrawn without prior notice at the sole discretion of the hotels.
  • Any queries relating to the use of the card or its validity should be referred to our Customer Service Manager or their authorised representative whose decision is final.
  • The Hotel endeavors to provide patrons with the safest possible environment. To ensure its duty of care, the Hotel may at its sole discretion refuse access or entry to any patron involved in anti-social or illegal behavior. The Hotel also reserves the absolute right to refuse The Far Card membership applications or terminate The Far Card membership without assigning any reason.
